Experience & Credentials
Dr. Demi Wolford is double board-certified in Family Medicine and Hospice & Palliative Medicine. She completed her residency training in Family Medicine at Baylor Scott & White in Temple, Texas, followed by fellowship training in Hospice & Palliative Medicine at City of Hope Comprehensive Cancer Center in Duarte, California.
Following her fellowship training, Dr. Wolford served as a Hospice Medical Director in San Diego County and subsequently continued her hospice leadership work in Florida. Through her experience caring for patients facing serious illness, she developed a strong commitment to improving access to Medical Aid in Dying for eligible patients seeking this option.
Dr. Wolford works closely with patients, families, physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary care teams to support individuals navigating serious illness and end-of-life decisions.
Licensed in both California and New York, Dr. Wolford provides individualized Medical Aid in Dying consultations and guidance in accordance with each state's laws. Patients who work with Dr. Wolford receive direct physician involvement, timely communication, and compassionate support throughout the process.
