Experience & Credentials
Dr. Demi Wolford is double board-certified in Family Medicine and Hospice & Palliative Medicine. She completed her residency training in Family Medicine at Baylor Scott & White in Temple, Texas, followed by fellowship training in Hospice & Palliative Medicine at City of Hope Comprehensive Cancer Center in Duarte, California.
Following her fellowship training, Dr. Wolford served as a Hospice Medical Director in San Diego County, caring for patients facing serious illness and supporting individuals and families through complex end-of-life decisions. During this time, she developed a strong commitment to improving access to Medical Aid in Dying for eligible patients seeking this option under California law.
Dr. Wolford works closely with patients, families, physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary care teams to support individuals navigating serious illness and end-of-life care.
She provides Medical Aid in Dying consultations for eligible California patients under the End of Life Option Act. Patients who work with Dr. Wolford receive direct physician involvement, timely communication, and individualized support throughout the process.
